Behind the beautiful scenery, in the past decade, my country has added and restored more than 800,000 hectares of wetlands. There are 64 internationally important wetlands, 29 nationally important wetlands, and 13 international wetland cities, ranking first in the world. my country has issued the "Wetland Protection Law" at the national level, and 28 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities have formulated provincial wetland protection regulations. As of now, my country's wetland area has reached 56.35 million hectares, ranking first in Asia and fourth in the world. With 4% of the world's wetlands, it carries the main demand for wetlands for one-fifth of the world's population. At present, the total number of wetland-type natural reserves in my country has reached more than 2,200, and it is also planned to include 11 million hectares of wetlands in the national park system to implement the strictest protection and management.

The latest data from the China National Space Administration shows that China currently has more than 300 satellites weighing more than 300 kilograms in orbit, ranking second in the world. There are more than 200 remote sensing satellites in orbit, achieving global coverage of 16-meter resolution satellite data in one day, optical 2-meter resolution data global revisit in one day, and 1-meter resolution synthetic aperture radar satellite revisit time for any region in the world is 5 hours. The National Remote Sensing Data and Application Service Platform opened by the National Space Administration last year can easily query and use my country's remote sensing data for the past decade.

Key industries such as agriculture, natural resources, ecological environment, water conservancy, forestry and grassland have already achieved the transition from demonstration applications to main business services. At the same time, in the event of an emergency, remote sensing satellites can also quickly image and observe the situation at the disaster site.
