China's bumper harvest: Jilin's colors painted on the black soil

In the golden autumn season, the rice in Jilin Province is fragrant in the vast black soil of Northeast China. The golden rice ears are bright and moving under the sunlight of autumn, and the "auspicious light" of the harvest has spread all over the banks of the Songhua River.

"This year, a bumper grain harvest is a foregone conclusion. According to agricultural situation dispatch and experts' multi-point yield measurements, the total grain output is predicted to be around 85 billion jin!" On September 27, Li Deming, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Jilin Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, said in an interview that at present, Jilin Province's total grain output and yield per unit area are expected to set a new historical record, and contribute a golden "Jilin quality" to China's harvest.

Wanchang Town, Yongji County, is located in the world's golden rice belt, and its japonica rice planting area ranks second among all the rice planting areas in the country. "This year's rice planting area is 4,000 mu, and the estimated output is 4.6 million jin. Compared with last year, the increase is 5%-10%." A farm manager in Wanchang Town told reporters that this year's temperature is extremely favorable for rice growth. The rice grown is golden in color, with full grains, 130 to 150 grains per ear, and weighs one or two liang.

This year, the rice planting area in Yanji City is 31,600 mu. According to Mo Feng, director of the Yanji Agricultural Machinery Management Station, the entire process from transplanting to harvesting can be mechanized. "This year's output has increased a lot compared to last year. It is estimated to be 15,000 to 16,000 kilograms per hectare, which is about 1,000 kilograms higher per hectare than last year." The person in charge of the Yanji Dinghui Planting and Breeding Farmers' Professional Cooperative told reporters.

In the rice fields of Shuixiang Village, Longjia Street, Jiutai District, Changchun City, the rice is fragrant and golden. The villagers are happily busy harvesting, drying and processing rice. The pictures of the harvest reflect the beautiful picture of rural revitalization.

In October, the rice fields in Meihekou City are golden and the fruits are fragrant. This year, Meihekou City proposed the "Year of Industrial Breakthrough", vigorously developing efficient modern agricultural industries such as vegetable planting and specialty planting, focusing on increasing the income of town and village collectives and farmers, and promoting rural revitalization with "prosperous industries, wealthy people, and beautiful environment", painting an intoxicating picture of harvest.
