According to the China Manned Space Engineering Office, at 0:34, the Beijing Aerospace Flight Control Center issued a return command through the ground tracking and control station, and the orbital module and the return module of the Shenzhou 18 manned spacecraft were successfully separated. After that, the spacecraft's return brake engine ignited, the return module and the propulsion module separated, and the return module landed successfully. The search and rescue team responsible for the search and recovery mission discovered the target in time and arrived at the landing site. After the return module door was opened, the medical supervision and medical insurance personnel confirmed that the astronauts were in good health.

The Shenzhou 18 manned spacecraft was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on April 25, 2024, and then docked with the Tianhe core module to form a combination. The three astronauts stayed in orbit for 192 days, during which they conducted two extravehicular activities, breaking the record for the single extravehicular activity time of Chinese astronauts, completed the installation of space debris protection devices for the space station and multiple cargo extravehicular missions, and successively carried out various tasks such as installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of equipment inside and outside the cabin, further accumulating valuable data and experience for the long-term stable operation of the space station in orbit; at the same time, with the close cooperation of ground scientific researchers, they completed a large number of space science experiments involving basic microgravity physics, space material science, space life science, aerospace medicine, aerospace technology and other fields.
