Although it can be seen from the recent announcement of the first half performance of various color TV companies that China's color TV market this year is showing an overall downward trend, although the entire market has declined, 4K TVs have grown against the trend. Industry experts said that as large and medium-sized 4K TVs gradually become standard for color TVs and product prices gradually decrease, sales of 4K TVs will show a significant upward trend in the coming period, market share will further increase, and the profits of color TV companies will also grow substantially. Relevant forecast data show that the total sales volume of color TV in 2014 will increase, with the total retail market volume reaching 5.53 million units. As the entire industry chain matures, the penetration rate of 4K TVs will further increase. It is estimated that the sales volume of 4K TVs in China will reach 8.05 million units in 2014 and 18.09 million units in 2015. China will become the most important market for 4K TVs.
