Taking the recent TV market situation as an example, the two major product camps of curved TVs and ultra-thin TVs are frequently competing for trends. However, for consumers, with the improvement of living standards and the increase in demand for personalized products, their requirements for home appliances have also changed greatly. The diversity of products has given consumers more choices. In the future, the form of television will definitely develop in a diversified direction to meet the needs of different users. At present, the "saliva" attacks between manufacturers cannot determine the future direction of the television industry. For new products and new technologies, the industry urgently needs a unified standard to specify and provide reference for consumers. Diversity coexists and seeks standardization . At this stage, China's emerging television consumer market presents a diversified development of curved, ultra-thin, laser, and OLED, and the technology of each product form is constantly improving. Manufacturers are also aware of the importance of market segmentation. Taking curved TV as an example, according to statistics from the Consumer Electronics Products Survey Office of the China Electronic Commerce Association, there are currently more than 9 brands and more than 40 curved TVs on sale in the market. In just half a year, the number of curved TV models on the market has increased by nearly half. In this regard, Lu Renbo pointed out that curved TV, as a category of emerging display products, has already occupied a place in the consumer market. In the past two years, the market size has also grown exponentially. At the same time, a set of systematic and complete performance evaluation criteria is also needed to regulate such products. The Consumer Electronics Product Investigation Office of the China Electronic Commerce Association and the National Radio and Television Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center have systematically upgraded the key evaluation indicators such as brightness uniformity, brightness viewing angle, and checkerboard contrast in the "Curved TV Display Performance Evaluation Specifications" that were implemented in 2014. This will once again raise the industry threshold. Products and manufacturers that do not meet the standards will be cleaned up first; manufacturers that meet the standards will be more strict with their product design and configuration in order to strive for excellence. From the overall market perspective, in addition to curved TVs, ultra-thin, laser and OLED products are also developing simultaneously. It is understood that industry standards for "ultra-thin" TV products will also be launched in the near future. Technical specifications for the TV industry such as these set a technical benchmark for the development of TVs, thereby ensuring the performance and quality of the internal hardware of TV products. There will be no future for the TV industry to expose its shortcomings and tear each other apart. Only diversified and standardized development can be truly recognized by consumers.
