The Internet of Things, as well as the related big data, cloud computing, and network security markets are hot spots for technological innovation and entrepreneurship after the mobile Internet. Israel is the second entrepreneurial mecca after Silicon Valley in the era of the Internet of Things. Statistics show that the number of Internet of Things startups in Israel has exceeded 300.

Recently, investment company TLV Partner drew a map of Israel's Internet of Things startups, selected dozens of the most representative and capital-attractive Israeli Internet of Things startups, and classified them according to product positioning and user market.

As can be seen from the above figure, in addition to the conventional classification of IoT technology products and platforms, IoT security as a separate category has seen the emergence of a large number of startups. In 2015, with the continuous IoT security incidents in the fields of automobiles, smart home appliances, smart toys, mobile medical care, etc., IoT security issues have become the focus of media attention. Israel happens to be a holy land for cybersecurity technical talents, so it is not surprising that many startups in the field of IoT security have been nurtured.
