China Academy of Information and Communications Technology: In the first quarter of 2022, the domestic 5G access downlink rate ranked Shanghai at 462.93Mbps, ranking first

Recently, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology released the first issue of the "National Mobile Network Quality Monitoring Report". The data statistics time was the first quarter of 2022. Specifically, the national 5G network average downlink access rate and uplink access rate were 334.98Mbps and 70.21Mbps respectively.

In the comparison of various provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government), the provinces with the highest average downlink access speed of 5G networks are Shanghai, Chongqing, and Yunnan, which are 462.93Mbps, 415.27Mbps, and 383.55Mbps respectively. Surprisingly, the average downlink access speed of 5G networks in Henan Province is 279.98Mbps, ranking last on the list.

The provinces ranking high in average 5G network uplink access speed are Jiangxi Province, Shanxi Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with Anhui Province ranking last.

In addition, in the comparison of various telecom operators, China Mobile leads in the average downlink access rate of 5G networks, and China Telecom leads in the uplink access rate; China Unicom leads in the average downlink access rate of 4G networks, and China Telecom leads in the uplink access rate.

According to platform monitoring data, my country's overall mobile network operation was stable and efficient in the first quarter of 2022. Among them, 5G network test samples accounted for more than 70% of the total, and the network access rate was significantly improved compared with the 4G network. On the one hand, it reflects the gradual improvement of my country's 5G network coverage, and on the other hand, it also reflects the importance and attention of the general public to the development of 5G networks.
