HP: New laptops will replace MacBook's innovative position

PC maker Hewlett-Packard will unveil its next-generation laptop on Tuesday, and the company is confident it will create a product that users will love.

HP's PC chief Ron Coughlin recently told The Wall Street Journal: "For many years, Apple has been considered the pioneer of innovation, but with the launch of HP's new high-end notebooks, HP will take over the banner."

Apple's notebook products have always been highly praised for their excellent screen, keyboard, trackpad design and battery life. Considering the popularity of Apple notebooks in various fields, does HP's "harsh words" indicate that it will release a sufficiently excellent product?

In the notebook computer field, HP is also constantly catching up with Apple. HP launched the Elitebook Folio at CES in January, and many people thought that its appearance was very similar to the MacBook.

HP's new laptop is said to be thinner than the Elitebook Folio, and will be more like a standard laptop rather than a laptop/tablet hybrid like the Surface Pro.
