It is worth noting that the Audi dealer investor representatives proposed that if they fail to get a clear and satisfactory response before December 1, Audi dealers will organize a press conference for Chinese and foreign journalists to make the conflict between Audi and dealers public and reserve the right to sue. FAW-Volkswagen Audi Sales Division misled dealer investors to build a large number of sales outlets based on unrealistic sales targets, resulting in large-scale losses for dealers. FAW-Volkswagen Audi Sales Division should compensate dealers for their losses. According to a survey conducted by the Audi Dealer Association (in preparation) of the China Automobile Dealers Association, Audi's dealer confidence index is currently significantly lower than that of other competing brands, especially in terms of products, profit potential, and business policies. The news of Audi's cooperation with SAIC has further hit the confidence of dealer investors. Shen Jinjun, president of the China Automobile Dealers Association, said in an interview with the media that the China Automobile Dealers Association is highly concerned about the adverse effects that the cooperation between Audi and SAIC may have on Audi dealers. As a representative of automobile dealers, the China Automobile Dealers Association solemnly calls on Audi to engage in fruitful dialogue with dealers to resolve differences between the two sides through dialogue and achieve a win-win situation. Shen Jinjun said that considering that the Chinese automobile market has entered a new normal of steady growth and the fierce competition in the luxury car market, Audi should re-evaluate its expectations for the Chinese luxury car market and the reasonable market share of the Audi brand, and on this basis, lower its sales target in the Chinese market. Secondly, Audi should increase the launch of new models in the Chinese market, enhance product strength, and strengthen brand building to curb the current decline in growth. Finally, in order to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of dealers, improve the operating conditions of dealers, and build a harmonious relationship between manufacturers, Audi must reasonably control the scale and development speed of its sales network. At the same time, strengthen dialogue with dealers and fully guarantee dealers' right to know and participate.
