Dongfeng Honda plans to launch 4 new models including two 7-seater SUVs

Dongfeng Honda made a great comeback in 2016, with cumulative sales of 459,000 vehicles from January to October, a year-on-year increase of 47.5% compared with 311,400 vehicles in the same period last year. Chen Binbo, Executive Vice President of Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co., Ltd., said: "Dongfeng Honda will continue to intensively launch products and accelerate product upgrades in the next two years." After sorting out Dongfeng Honda's new car plans, the online car market found that Dongfeng Honda is expected to launch four new cars next year, namely the new Jade, the new Spirior Hybrid, the U-RV and the new C-RV.

As 2016 draws to a close, Dongfeng Honda has launched a number of new products, including the new Elysion, the new Civic (1.0T+1.5T models) and the Jingrui. Next year, Dongfeng Honda will launch four new models: the new Jade with a 1.5T engine, the Spirior Hybrid with Honda's i-MMD hybrid system, and a new mid-size SUV with 7 seats. Finally, the new C-RV with a further increased body size.

Faced with the continuous growth of the SUV craze in the domestic market, SUV models have naturally become the focus of attention. Dongben's new car plan for next year includes two SUV models. Among them, the new C-RV will further increase the body size and is expected to be equipped with a more powerful 1.5T turbocharged engine. The other of the two SUVs is the flagship model of the future Dongfeng Honda SUV family - U-RV. The new car is positioned as a 7-seater medium-sized SUV. It is based on the Concept D concept car like the GAC Honda Crown Road and has a similar appearance. In terms of size, the U-RV is 9mm longer and 1mm higher than the Crown Road. In terms of power, it will be equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 272kW and a peak torque of 370Nm, matched with a 9-speed automatic transmission.
