All-new Lexus LS spy photos revealed, debut in early 2017

But the good news is that foreign media recently exposed a group of road test spy photos of the new generation Lexus LS, which will debut at the North American Auto Show in January 2017 and will be put on the market for sale in the middle of next year.

Although it is only about a month away from the release, the test car is still covered with a heavy layer of camouflage. From the details, it can be found that the test car has been replaced with mass-produced headlights and taillights. The light group uses LED light sources, the front face uses a large-area air intake grille, and sensors are suspected to be installed on both sides of the front bumper for signal collection of the semi-automatic driving system.

From the side, the new car's body size has been further increased, and the wheelbase has been increased by about 3000mm compared to the current model, which greatly improves the comfort of the rear seat. In addition, the body lines of the new car are smoother, and it looks very sporty visually. In terms of the rear, compared with the current model, the duck-tongue-style tail wing on the trunk lid is more prominent, further rendering the sporty temperament of the new car.

Although no spy photos of the new car's interior were taken this time, we learned from relevant channels that the new car has added many new technological configurations, including a fully digital instrument panel, a rear passenger infotainment system, and a semi-automatic driving system, etc. At present, there is very limited information about the power of the new car, but according to foreign media speculation, the new car is expected to be equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine derived from the LC 500h and a 5.0-liter V8 engine derived from the LC 500.
