Former Faraday creative director appointed Aston Martin chief technology officer

According to foreign media reports, Aston Martin recently appointed Maximilian Szwaj as its new chief technology officer. Maximilian Szwaj previously served as creative and engineering director for Faraday and Maserati. It is reported that Maximilian Szwaj served as Faraday's engineering director at Fiat Chrysler for more than 6 years. He will now serve as Aston Martin's chief technology officer to fill this vacancy. Aston Martin President Andy Palmer said: "We are very happy to welcome Maximilian Szwaj to the Aston Martin team. Maximilian Szwaj's rich experience, skilled skills and passion in engineering and products will help the engineering design team better design the next generation of Aston Martin products." Maximilian Szwaj expressed his happiness at Aston Martin: “Aston Martin is at a critical moment and I am very happy to be involved in the development and design of a series of new cars at this moment and to play a role in influencing future Aston Martin models and technologies.” Maximilian Szwaj takes over the position from Ian Minards, who was previously reported to have joined the Dyson car project after it was revealed that British vacuum cleaner maker Dyson was likely working on an electric car. Aston Martin is currently developing a new family of models, including the new Vantage, an electric Rapide and the Lagonda sedan. As a winner of Toutiao's Qingyun Plan and Baijiahao's Bai+ Plan, the 2019 Baidu Digital Author of the Year, the Baijiahao's Most Popular Author in the Technology Field, the 2019 Sogou Technology and Culture Author, and the 2021 Baijiahao Quarterly Influential Creator, he has won many awards, including the 2013 Sohu Best Industry Media Person, the 2015 China New Media Entrepreneurship Competition Beijing Third Place, the 2015 Guangmang Experience Award, the 2015 China New Media Entrepreneurship Competition Finals Third Place, and the 2018 Baidu Dynamic Annual Powerful Celebrity. |
