Tesla starts selling insurance: free replacement of new cars in the first year

Tesla, a car manufacturer, has started selling insurance. Foreign media reported that it is cooperating with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company of the United States to provide auto insurance plans specifically for its American electric vehicles. The insurance service launched by Tesla in the United States is called "InsureMyTesla". In addition to regular insurance, Liberty also provides other benefits to American car owners, including replacing damaged cars that are considered total losses with new ones within the first year.It is worth mentioning that the insurance company AAA previously raised the insurance premiums for Tesla cars in some markets, citing the high frequency and cost of Tesla car accidents. Tesla CEO Musk refuted this, saying that the average insurance cost of Model S or Model X is about 5% lower than other luxury cars.
