BYD Song MAX debuts at Guangzhou Auto Show: What do you think of the dragon face design?

Most ordinary consumers may still think of BYD as a brand similar to Zotye. After all, the previous BYD F3 was indeed a car that was "assembled" by combining the front face of Toyota Corolla and the rear of Honda City.

But now, BYD seems to have really started hiring designers on its own.

At the 2017 Guangzhou Auto Show, Song MAX, known as the "big and beautiful 7-seater MPV", became the mainstay of BYD's booth. It applied the family's latest "Dragon Face" design language, and the big-mouthed front face used a multi-banner electroplated grille with matrix LED headlights.

In terms of power, Song MAX is equipped with BYD's self-developed 1.5T turbocharged direct injection engine model BYD476ZQA, which has an all-aluminum cylinder block and automatic delayed cooling technology. It has a maximum power of 113kW and a peak torque of 240N·m, matched with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed DCT dual-clutch transmission.

More importantly, as for the price, the official starting price of Song MAX is less than RMB 80,000. In this case, who would still buy Buick GL6?
