The new Landwind Xiaoyao has a mature and youthful appearance design and is priced at RMB 79,900 to RMB 131,900.

On the evening of January 4, Landwind's new compact SUV Landwind Xiaoyao will be officially launched. The new car is positioned as a compact SUV, lower than the Landwind X7. The length/width/height of the new car are 4439mm/1835mm/1550mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2700mm. A total of 9 models will be launched, equipped with two 1.5T turbocharged engines, matched with 5MT/6MT/CVT gearboxes. The price range is 79,900-131,900 yuan.

The new car has a young, stylish and dynamic appearance. The eagle-eye headlights and C-shaped LED light strips are very design-conscious, and the concave and convex front surround design also adds a sense of layering to the front face. From the side of the car, the flat body makes it look more like a crossover coupe SUV.

The Xiaoyao Bronze Edition comes standard with 17-inch wheels, halogen headlights, boneless wipers, etc. The Silver Edition adds exhaust pipe decorations and luggage racks. The Gold Edition and above are equipped with panoramic sunroofs, electric heating/folding exterior mirrors. The Platinum/Diamond Editions are equipped with LED headlights, chassis guards and 18-inch wheels. The Diamond Edition also has exclusive flowing turn signals and red brake calipers.

The interior design is simple and elegant, echoing the youthful exterior design. In terms of workmanship and materials, Landwind Xiaoyao is also very attentive, using a lot of soft materials. The bronze version is equipped with a four-way adjustable steering wheel, a manual four-way adjustable main driver's fabric seat, a second row 4/6 split folding, and a partially embossed instrument panel. The silver version adds a six-way manual main driver's seat adjustment, and the gold version is further equipped with a multi-function steering wheel and other configurations.

Landwind Xiaoyao will be equipped with two 1.5T engines, namely Dongan 4G15T (manifold injection) and Jiangling JX4G15 (direct injection), with maximum power of 156 horsepower and 163 horsepower respectively. The former is only matched with a 5-speed manual transmission, while the latter is matched with a 6-speed manual or a CVT continuously variable transmission from Nanjing Bangqi VT5.
