The recalled vehicles may have a fault code in the electric power steering system after long-term use due to the long-term corrosion of the electric power steering harness connector pins. In extreme cases, the vehicle's electronic power steering may fail, which will have a fatal impact on driving safety. Geely will install rubber pads between the electric power steering housing and the motor of the involved vehicles for free, and apply grease to the harness terminals to eliminate safety hazards.
