WM Motor announces the price of the entire EX5 series, with a post-subsidy price range of RMB 112,300 to RMB 164,800

On September 10, WM Motor officially announced the price of its EX5 mass-produced model, which ranges from 186,500 yuan to 247,300 yuan, which is similar to the price level of Xpeng Motors' models.

WM Motor said that the price of EX5 is set according to its positioning as an affordable smart electric vehicle. Taking Beijing as an example, after enjoying the 2018 national new energy vehicle subsidy policy and local subsidy policy subsidies, the price of WM EX5 will be between 112,300 yuan and 164,800 yuan.

WM Motor also announced the price of optional configurations for EX5. Based on the C2M customization concept, WM Motor will break the industry's practice of bundled sales of optional configurations, and users can choose the configuration that suits their car usage habits according to their needs.

In response to the national trend of encouraging high-safety and high-energy-density battery systems, the entire WM EX5 series is consistent with high-end products on the market, using VDA high-energy-density square battery cells, and the energy density of the battery pack system exceeds 140Wh/kg.

WM Motor said that after many tests and verifications, most of its standards exceeded the national standards by twice, and all 16 safety tests were passed in one go.

In terms of product configuration, the entire WM EX5 series is equipped with a standard 6.6kW on-board charger and an optional 6.6kW bidirectional on-board charger. It is equipped with battery safety systems such as an IP67 protection safety level battery pack, a battery collision forced power-off protection system, and a high-temperature cooling system. In addition, an electric heating system and a minus 30-degree polar heating system will be optional for extreme vehicle use environments.

The first batch of WM EX5 products will start accepting deposit payments for customized vehicles in mid-September, and will start deliveries at the end of this month. Products will be produced in the order of deposit payment and delivered to users in sequence.

At present, the first batch of 16 smart partners in 15 cities will start operations in September, and the second batch of smart partners is expected to be put into operation by the end of the year. WM Motor has transformed the traditional retail of "goods, venues, and people" into "people, goods, and venues", putting people first, pursuing the shortest path to reach the user end, bringing about the improvement of circulation efficiency, and allowing the channel to focus on serving users.
