Recently, He Xiaopeng shared some design sketches of the second-generation Xiaopeng Huitian flying car on Weibo. There are many good ideas, but they have been abandoned due to technical reasons.

He Xiaopeng said that Xiaopeng Huitian has been exploring the field of flying cars for 7 years and has carried out more than 10,000 safe manned flights. However, flying cars are a new field and there is no solution to learn from, so Xiaopeng can only move forward by exploring on its own.

He revealed that the second-generation flying car has undergone many improvements and research on flight, and is expected to be open for test flights and test drives on a small scale in the fourth quarter of next year.

However, He Xiaopeng also said that what he really wants to do is a two-seater car that can drive on city roads and fly in the sky, with 90% of the scenarios being land driving and 10% flying. But it will take more time to combine flight, car, safety, intelligence and other options.

Afterwards, He Xiaopeng also expressed his eagerness to recruit engineers in the fields of aircraft, automobiles or robots, and called on more talents to join Xiaopeng Huitian's journey of exploring and creating the dream of flying.
