Recently, SERES Group issued an announcement stating that its sales of new energy vehicles in October reached 15,597 units, a year-on-year increase of 213.44%; among them, SERES Automobile sold 12,047 units in October, a year-on-year increase of 461.37% ; the cumulative sales this year were 61,622 units, a year-on-year increase of 832.82%.

Among them, the AITO series delivered 12,018 vehicles in October, achieving deliveries exceeding 10,000 for three consecutive months.

It is understood that SERES Group released its latest financial report last month: operating income in the third quarter was 10.707 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 163.39%; revenue in the first three quarters was 23.123 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 101.96%; net loss in the third quarter of this year was 947 million yuan, and net loss in the first three quarters was 2.675 billion yuan.

It is said that this year is still in the climbing stage of new product launches and has not yet had economies of scale. Although the sales volume of BYD's new energy vehicle series increased significantly in the first three quarters, expenses and taxes also increased accordingly; at the same time, it was affected by factors such as the continued rise in prices of raw materials such as chips and power batteries, and continued investment in product research and development and market promotion.
