China Shipbuilding Industry Association: China's shipbuilding capacity utilization monitoring index hit a 10-year high in 2022

According to the China Shipbuilding Industry Association, China's shipbuilding capacity utilization monitoring index (CCI) reached 764 points in 2022, reaching its highest point in nearly 10 years. Compared with 742 points in the same period of 2021, it rose by 22 points, a year-on-year increase of 3.0%; compared with 717 points in the third quarter, it rebounded by 47 points, a month-on-month increase of 6.6%.
