Samsung S5 octa-core version exposed

In the past, Samsung's official documents accidentally leaked information about the eight-core version of the Galaxy S5, but it was deleted by Samsung soon afterwards. However, this does not mean that the version has been cancelled. Recently, the foreign website GsmArena has exposed the AnTuTu running score of the eight-core version of the Samsung Galaxy S5, and claimed that this version will be available in India and most Asian countries. According to the AnTuTu running score test screenshots exposed this time, the model of the eight-core version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 is SM-G900H, equipped with the Orion Exynos 5 eight-core processor, and its AnTuTu running score reached 38,580 points, which is about 36,000 points higher than the GLAXY S5 version with Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor. Specifically, the eight-core version surpasses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 version in CPU integer operations, floating-point operations, 3D and other projects. Previously, in a Samsung official document describing the history of the Samsung Galaxy S series, in the specification comparison entry, the processor part of the Samsung Galaxy S5 also appeared with the Exynos eight-core processor version, and it was shown that the processor's main frequency was 2.1GHz. Although the specific model of the processor was not revealed in this benchmark, according to previously exposed information, it should be Samsung's latest Exynos 5422 octa-core processor, which is mainly characterized by being manufactured with 28nm HK+MG process, based on big.LITTLE architecture, consisting of four Cortex-A15 and four Cortex-A7 cores, and equipped with Mali-T628 MP6 GPU. However, compared with the past, the biggest change of this processor is that it supports HMP technology (heterogeneous multi-processing), and eight cores can run simultaneously, which is the so-called true octa-core processor.
