China Association of Automobile Manufacturers: Brief analysis of customs import and export situation from January to February 2023

According to data from the General Administration of Customs compiled by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in January-February 2023 , compared with the same period last year, the import value of automobile products showed a rapid decline, while the export value maintained rapid growth.

From January to February 2023 , the total import and export volume of automobile products in China was US$ 41.42 billion, a year-on-year increase of 20.7% . The import volume was US$ 11.62 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 26.3% ; the export volume was US$ 29.8 billion, a year-on-year increase of 60.7%.
