Last night Beijing time, Huawei held a press conference in Paris, France, and officially released its new flagship product P7. The phone uses a 5-inch 1080p display, is equipped with a HiSilicon Kirin 910T quad-core processor with a main frequency of 1.8GHz, has 2GB of built-in memory and 16GB of body storage space, supports micro SD card expansion, provides an 8-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel rear camera, and runs the Emotion UI 2.3 interface based on Android 4.4. The domestic price is 2,888 yuan, and it is divided into three versions: China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom, all of which support 4G networks. When promoting P7, Huawei claimed that the phone uses a dual SIM card slot design, but in fact, not all of the three versions of the domestic version support dual cards, at least not the mobile version. In addition, Huawei also stated that its SIM card slot adopts a multi-purpose design, which can install both micro SD cards and nano SIM cards, which instantly makes people feel high-end. Specifically, the upper card slot in the P7 dual card slot can indeed be used for multiple purposes. It can be used to install a micro SD card in the usual way, but a nano SIM card is designed horizontally in the card slot. If the SD card is not installed, dual SIM dual standby can be achieved. This is indeed a good design for users who do not need dual SIM cards, at least one card slot is not wasted. For users who need dual SIM cards, it is indeed more convenient to give up the SD card and have an extra SIM card. However, it should be noted that this function is only available in the China Unicom version of the P7. Although the China Mobile and China Telecom versions of the P7 also have dual card slot designs, the China Mobile version only supports single SIM cards, while the China Telecom version supports dual SIM cards, but does not support micro SD cards.
