The next iPad Air's memory will increase from 1GB to 2GB

Recently, rumors about Apple have been mainly about the next generation of iPhones, which are widely expected to be unveiled next month. However, Bloomberg reported earlier this month that mass production of new iPads with anti-reflective coatings on the screen has begun.

The report shows that the next generation of iPad mini with Retina display will not get a memory upgrade. In addition to the screen size, the current iPad Ari and iPad mini with Retina display have the same hardware configuration. However, in the past, iPads of different sizes had different hardware parameters, such as iPad 4 and the first generation iPad mini. Therefore, it is not surprising to provide higher hardware configuration for the more expensive large-size iPad.

Earlier this year, there were reports that the iPad would support running multiple apps on the screen, and the memory upgrade might be necessary for this feature. At the time, the report said that this feature would only support the 9.7-inch iPad, and the source was not clear whether the iPad mini would support this feature.

Industry insiders expect the next-generation iPad Air to have the same design as the current product, but will use a more powerful A8 processor and introduce a Touch ID fingerprint sensor similar to the iPhone 5s.

The report also shows that Apple's wearable computing device iWatch/iBand will use 512MB of memory and 8GB of internal storage capacity. However, there is still not much information about this product. American technology blog Re/code reported earlier this year that Apple will release a wearable computing device in October. However, Taiwan KGI Securities analyst Guo Mingchi released a report this week saying that due to supply chain problems, the launch of this product will be postponed to next year.
