iPhone 6 and iPhone Plus will be launched in the United States, France, Hong Kong, Canada, Germany, Singapore, the United Kingdom, Australia and Japan on September 19, 2014. An insider told the 21st Century Business Herald reporter: "The Chinese government has not yet issued network access licenses to iPhone 6 and Plus." Previously, there were rumors in the industry that in order to reserve time for the development of TD-LTE, the government would selectively block the FDD standard of mobile phones in some cities.

"A week later, the government will issue Apple a network access license, but TD-LTE LTE-FDD are all within the scope of the license." The above-mentioned person laughed and said: "It is basically determined, but it is still uncertain."

Currently, China's three major operators have all started online reservations for iPhone 6. As of today, Beijing Mobile has about 72,000 reservation users, Beijing Unicom has about 15,000 reservation users, and Beijing Telecom has 18,000 reservation users.

A Foxconn employee told reporters: "Foxconn and Pegatron jointly produce the two phones. The total inventory of the two phones combined is 70-80 million, and the inventory can be completed before September 19." In September 2013, when Apple released the iPhone 5S and 5C, the inventory was about 50-60 million, and the iPhone 5S was out of stock at one point.

The sufficient inventory also reflects Apple’s confidence in this “biggest leap forward in iPhone history.”
