iPhone 6 running score exposed again

iPhone 6 has just started pre-sale, so if you want to touch it in person you have to wait patiently, but its running score has already appeared in the Rightware Basemark X test score database.

iPhone 6/Plus uses the new generation A8 SoC processor, manufactured with TSMC's 20nm process, dual-core 1.4GHz, and integrated with a six-core GPU PowerVR GX6650. Official claims that the CPU and GPU performance can be improved by up to 25% and 50% respectively compared to the previous generation A7.

The data shows that the A8 Basemark X's running score is only 21204.26, which is only 4.6% higher than the iPhone 5S A7. It is in stark contrast to the huge improvements of previous generations. It is really unbearable to watch.

However, before the official release, someone exposed the A8 Geekbench 3 results, showing an improvement of exactly 25%.

So, can we only blame Basemark X for not having adequate support?
