Not "ugly" or "rough", Meizu Blue Note real machine experience

On December 23, Meizu and its new sub-brand Meilan launched the Meilan Note, a thousand-yuan smartphone. Before the Meilan phone came out, "stuck, slow, ugly, small, and made in Xiaomi" was Meizu's own summary of the current thousand-yuan phone market, and the company was full of dissatisfaction with the products on the market.

After the Meizu Blue Note launch conference, we immediately entered the new product experience area to see what eye-catching products Meizu has created this time.

From the initial impression, the Meizu Note can still be recognized as a Meizu phone at first glance. The round Home button with a breathing light function has become a signature element of Meizu phones, and the curved design of the back that fits the palm makes the 8.9mm thick Meizu Note look thinner visually.

Meizu Blue Note uses the same polycarbonate material as iPhone 5c, and the design of the bottom speaker and sound pickup hole is also "Apple-like". The smooth back cover is completely different from the style of Meizu MX4, but the back, especially the white version, looks somewhat similar to MX3 and previous Meizu phones, and is indeed not "ugly".

Since the "incomprehensible" detachable back cover was cancelled and an integrated body was used instead, the integrity of the Meizu Note's body is quite high, and the details such as the headphone jack and SIM card slot are handled very well. Even the control of the gap between the camera and the shell is better than that of the MX4, and it is indeed not "rough".

But the smooth back cover is naturally a natural fingerprint collector, and the prototypes on the booth in the experience area have left obvious traces of being "caressed" by someone.

As a rare phone among Meizu products that uses a 16:9 display, the Meizu Blue Note looks more slender than other models of the brand. The 5.5-inch 1080P display has outstanding display effects, and the viewing angle is still ideal under "diagonal" conditions.

Meizu Note is equipped with Flyme OS 4.2C system interface developed based on Android 4.4.4, and the operation is smooth. From the settings interface, we can also see that the model of Meizu Note is "m1 note".

Overall, Meizu's 1,000-yuan smartphone did not disappoint. The 16GB version of the Meizu Blue Note, priced at 999 yuan, is not ugly or rough. However, the experience area at the launch event only provided two models in Meizu's iconic colors, white and blue. As for when we can see the colorful Meizu Blue Note behind the beautiful model? The answer may be revealed when the product is officially launched on December 30.
