In January 2024, GAC Aion's global sales volume reached 24,947 units, with 21,938 units delivered to domestic terminals, and overseas sales exceeded 3,000 units for the first time. This month, GAC Aion officially entered the Hong Kong market, leading the trend of technology.

According to previously announced information, GAC Aion's Thailand factory project officially started construction in Rayong Industrial Park, Rayong Province, Thailand.

As GAC Aion’s first overseas production base, the total investment in the Thailand factory project is 2.3 billion baht, with a designed annual production capacity of 50,000 units.

Gu Huinan, general manager of GAC Aion, gave the sales target for 2024 in an interview with the media.

As the second-largest domestic brand in China's new energy vehicle market, GAC Aion achieved sales of 480,000 vehicles in 2023.

In other words, Aion needs to achieve more than 60% growth in 2024 to achieve its sales target of 700,000 vehicles.
