The new Apple MacBook is like this?

Will Apple's next MacBook use fingerprint recognition? It's possible.

Taiwanese website Apple.club.tw broke the news that Apple may integrate Touch ID fingerprint sensors into new Mac notebooks and desktops.

The website reported that Apple may integrate Touch ID fingerprint scanners into the touchpads of the 12-inch MacBook Air and the next-generation MacBook Pro. For desktops like the iMac, Mac Pro, and Mac Mini, Apple may integrate Touch ID into the Magic Mouse or Magic Trackpad.

In addition, the 12-inch MacBook Air will be available in more colors, including silver, space gray, and gold, which are consistent with the new iPhones .

If Apple integrates Touch ID into Mac computers, it may be to further promote Apple Pay payment service. Gurman said that Apple needs to ensure that Touch ID in Mac computers is as secure as in iPhone. The function of Touch ID is based on the security module in Apple's A series chips, which will ensure the security of transactions. Apple will need to bring the same experience to Mac computers.
