The world's smallest Bluetooth headset is crowdfunded

Dot, the world's smallest Bluetooth headset, is seeking funding on Kickstarter. The headset measures just 13.8x21mm, weighs just 3.5g (0.12oz), and smashed its slim funding goal just one hour into the campaign. Its petite size, however, comes at the expense of battery life. Made from aluminum and polycarbonate, the headset comes with three different sized earbuds (small, medium, and large) and comes with a portable inductive charger. The headset connects to up to eight devices at once via the energy-efficient Bluetooth 4.0 protocol. Its developers say it will also feature a single multi-function button.

In addition, the Bluetooth headset Dot is also planned to have dual-microphone active noise reduction function, LED indicator light, white or black appearance, and mono and stereo (dual earplugs) versions are available. The Bluetooth headset Dot can listen to music continuously for 60 minutes or talk continuously for 90 minutes on a single charge. The crowdfunding price of the Bluetooth headset Dot is US$59 (mono) and US$79 (stereo version).
