Although smart watches have become a trending wearable device, there is currently a problem that even Apple cannot solve: battery life. When lithium batteries still rely on large capacity to achieve long battery life, the shape of the watch naturally limits the size of the body, and naturally cannot accommodate large-sized, high-capacity lithium batteries. So, how to solve the problem of poor battery life of smart watches? A smart watch called "Element 1" recently landed on a crowdfunding platform, and its biggest feature is that it does not need to be charged. Element 1 uses a new type of power battery and charging technology. The kinetic energy generated by the user's daily activities can be converted into battery capacity, so in theory, as long as the user keeps wearing it, it can provide uninterrupted power. In addition, Element 1 will also run a customized version of the Android system (not Android Wear), provide sports, heart rate monitoring and common notification functions, the 1.33-inch round screen has a resolution of 240*240 pixels, and has a built-in 2GB ROM for local storage. Element 1 will be available in four colors. If crowdfunding is successful, the price will be US$99 (approximately RMB 615) and it will be officially shipped in December this year. As a winner of Toutiao's Qingyun Plan and Baijiahao's Bai+ Plan, the 2019 Baidu Digital Author of the Year, the Baijiahao's Most Popular Author in the Technology Field, the 2019 Sogou Technology and Culture Author, and the 2021 Baijiahao Quarterly Influential Creator, he has won many awards, including the 2013 Sohu Best Industry Media Person, the 2015 China New Media Entrepreneurship Competition Beijing Third Place, the 2015 Guangmang Experience Award, the 2015 China New Media Entrepreneurship Competition Finals Third Place, and the 2018 Baidu Dynamic Annual Powerful Celebrity. |
