NVIDIA's roar! Google Pixel C tablet performance test

At the end of September last year, while releasing the new generation of "own son" devices Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P, Google unexpectedly took out the transformable tablet Pixel C, which is also the first Android device completely designed, named and supported by Google. Before that, Google also launched two generations of Chromebook Pixel notebooks, but the system used was Chrome OS. Although Pixel C is an Android tablet, it is not used to replace HTC Nexus 9, but will coexist with it. The positioning is different from each other. It is more similar to Microsoft's Surface series. Pixel C is also a rare device based on NVIDIA Tegra X1 mobile platform. It has four Cortex-A57 CPU cores and four Cortex-A53, with a maximum frequency of 1.91GHz. It also integrates a 256-core Maxwell architecture GPU with a frequency of about 850MHz. This is much stronger than the Tegra K1 in Nexus 9. We won't say much about the design here, just look at its system performance. JavaScript Web Performance : I was quite disappointed right from the start. Two of the three items were significantly inferior to Nexus 9, and the other one was barely equal. In fact, JS performance is also an area that Google Android platform needs to improve urgently, as iOS is leading more and more. Basemark OS II 2.0 : NAND flash memory performance is really too poor (Memory part), Web performance is not as good as expected, only the graphics performance is slightly better, and the overall result is just average. iPad Pro is really amazing! PCMark : Except for the poor writing part, the others are quite good, and in the end the overall performance is only slightly inferior to Mate 8. BaseMark X : The CPU has no special features, but the GPU is invincible. This is definitely No.1 in the Android camp, and it is far ahead even in the native resolution test. Excluding the impact of resolution, the absolute performance is a full 43% higher than the previous generation Tegra K1 in Nexus 9! GFXBench : Tegra X1 is absolutely invincible in the Android world, but it is far inferior to the 12-core customized PowerVR in A9X. Storage performance : Any Android device developed by Google is average in this regard , and it really needs to be considered carefully, such as UFS 2.0.
