Android Wear update: support for new gestures and listening to voice messages

According to foreign media reports, Google recently updated Android Wear and introduced three features: new gesture control, expanded range of voice commands, and voice calls.

In terms of gesture control, users can control it through specific gestures, such as "push, lift or shake" gestures to read cards, open lists or return to the main page.

Voice commands have now been expanded to send messages to apps. For example, people can say to the watch, "OK Google , Send a Hangouts message to Lily: hello," and the message will be sent to the corresponding friends in the Hangouts app without having to manually select it as before. This feature supports Hangouts, Telegram, Viber, WeChat, and Whatsapp.

It is worth mentioning that if your watch has a built-in speaker, you can listen to voice and video messages. That is to say, when you receive a voice message from WeChat , you can listen to it directly on your watch without the need for a mobile phone. Through Bluetooth connection, users can also make calls with their watches. Currently, the more popular Huawei Watch and TicWatch in China have built-in speaker modules to achieve the above functions.
