Why don’t foreigners buy the Xiaomi Mi MIX white version when it’s first released in the US?

Xiaomi today opened the door to the US market with the white Xiaomi MIX and Xiaomi TV 4. Both products were first launched at CES and have never been unveiled or even announced in China before.

Many Android vertical media and technology websites reported the launch of Xiaomi MIX and gave away their hands-on experience, but GSMarena expressed disappointment.

Although Xiaomi MIX is regarded as the only mobile phone that can be compared with Note 7 in importance last year, GSMarena has learned that this phone may not be launched in Western markets such as the United States and Canada, and will still only be sold in China for the time being.

Foreign netizens also replied to the post, expressing their frustration.

An article online claims that a Xiaomi employee revealed that the price and domestic launch date of the white version of Xiaomi MIX have not yet been determined, and the overseas launch will be later than the domestic launch. Considering commercial feasibility, the white version will only be available in regular version.
