He said that through cooperation with Microsoft, the Snapdragon 835 Win10 computer can directly run complete x86 programs (through an emulator), that is, the Windows 10 system on the ARM chip is also a full desktop version . Kressin revealed that as a SoC that integrates CPU, GPU, baseband, wireless radio frequency and other modules, the Snapdragon 835 has a great significance in popularizing 4G LTE notebooks, two-in-one devices, etc. Qualcomm hopes to make consumers realize that being able to connect to the 4G network at all times is important for learning, office and productivity output. When it comes to price, Kressin said that this mainly depends on PC manufacturers, but he said it will definitely not be particularly cheap, but it will not be very expensive either . What everyone needs to understand is that the significance of Snapdragon 835 computers is mobile office, web browsing, etc., rather than gaming laptops or professional workstations. It is reported that HP and Dell have confirmed that they will launch Snapdragon 835 computer products . These computers will run the full Windows 10 desktop system, equipped with low-power memory, standard 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, and widely support USB devices (except advanced interfaces such as Thunderbolt 3) and even Microsoft's VR platform "Windows Holographic". Previously, in Qualcomm's demonstration, a Snapdragon 820+4G+Win10 Enterprise Edition laptop can smoothly run unmodified .exe PS, Office, World of Tanks, play ultra-clear videos, etc., and its performance is said to be comparable to Intel i3.
