Most people think that the TouchID sensor on iPhones and iPads is very secure, and it is. Security experts point out that the success rate of digitally created fake fingerprints in the real world is much lower than the 65% in the simulated world. A doctor said that their findings show that if you can somehow create a magic glove with MasterPrints on each finger, you can try it on the iPhone before the phone asks for a numeric password, and the iPhone's fingerprint sensor is likely to be cracked. When Apple was asked about the research, the company pointed out that the chance of an iPhone being attacked by a fake fingerprint match is one in 50,000. Apple said it has incorporated security features to prevent false matches on the iPhone's TouchID sensor.
