As an important component of the ofo smart lock, the battery is a button battery and a Haocheng CR17450 lithium manganese battery (LMO). It is reported that this type of battery has a low high temperature range, poor overall performance, and is non-rechargeable and a disposable product. Many netizens are worried that a large number of ofo yellow bikes will lose connection due to "battery failure" in the coming summer.

However, the “Beidou navigation chip” claimed by ofo was not found in the circuit board of the smart lock CPU. Instead, the Quectel M26 module, a GSM/GPRS chip, was found. The Quectel official website does not have any information about its product specifications. How will ofo explain this?
