The report says that Android will account for 82.6% of the market share in 2019

The competition between iOS and Android has entered a fierce stage, and both systems hope to occupy a larger share in the mobile system field. At this stage, Google's mobile system is in a leading position due to the existence of many Android system OEM manufacturers on the market. Recently, data research company IDC released a new report, which stated that Google will continue to maintain its lead in 2019.

The report pointed out that in 2019, Android will occupy 82.6% of the global mobile system market share, and iOS will account for 14.1%. IDC predicts that by the end of this year, Android's market share will be 81.2% and iOS's market share will be 15.8%, which means that Apple's market share will decline slightly in the next four years.

IDC also said that this year, global Android OEMs will ship an astonishing 1.16 billion mobile phones, a number that will grow to 1.54 billion by 2019. At the same time, iPhone shipments will increase from 226 million this year to 263.4 million. Although Apple's device shipments have also increased, its overall share will still be further eroded by Android.
