iOS 13 revealed: Dark mode, undo gesture, new volume UI

Dark Mode and Multitasking

First of all, the long-awaited dark mode is finally coming to iOS 13. Users can turn on the system-level dark mode in Settings, which is similar to the dark mode on macOS. There will also be many improvements to iOS 13 for iPad, including support for apps with multiple windows, each of which is attached to a part of the screen and can be moved with a drag gesture. After dragging, the window will become a card. These cards can also be stacked and have a depth effect, making it easier to distinguish between the top and bottom cards.

Undo gesture, Safari improvements, and font management

One of the most common features that iOS users complain about is the undo function, which requires shaking the phone on iPhone and iPad. In iOS 13, Apple has added a new gesture for the undo function of text input on iPad, which only requires three fingers on the keyboard area, swiping left to undo, and swiping right to redo. When users use the keyboard for the first time, there will be a teaching demonstration, and developers can use the API to implement the undo and redo gestures in their own apps.

The Safari browser in iOS 13 for iPad will automatically request the desktop version of the website. In iOS 13, Apple will also add font management functions, and developers will be able to use a new font selection component. Smart Mail App, improved multiple selection

In iOS 13, the Mail app will become smarter and will automatically categorize emails, such as marketing emails, receipt emails, and unimportant emails.
