Huawei responds to US ban on Chinese 5G: Restricting Huawei will not make the US stronger

The US blockade of China's 5G technology and manufacturers has entered a new stage, and will eventually lead to war.

Today, U.S. President Trump signed an executive order citing the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, requiring U.S. companies to enter a state of emergency, under which they are prohibited from using telecommunications equipment produced by companies that pose a risk to national security.

According to Reuters, the International Emergency Economic Powers Act authorizes the president to control business and respond to threats when the U.S. economy is threatened. The executive order signed by Trump requires the U.S. Department of Commerce to work with other U.S. administrative agencies to draft a plan on how to implement this order within 150 days.

This bill and executive order do not directly mention specific targets such as China or Huawei, but almost all media believe that this order is aimed at Huawei. It is not only intended to prevent Huawei from participating in the construction of US networks, but also to block the possibility of Huawei's participation among US allies.

Regarding this ban, Huawei has officially issued an announcement, the content is as follows:

"Huawei is an unparalleled leader in the field of 5G telecommunications equipment, and we are willing to communicate with the US government on measures to ensure product safety. If the US restricts Huawei, it will not make the US safer or stronger, but will only force the US to use inferior and expensive alternative equipment, lag behind other countries in 5G network construction, and ultimately harm the interests of US companies and consumers. Unreasonable restrictions will also infringe on Huawei's rights and trigger other serious legal issues."
