Hongmeng OS internal test system experience exposed: the interface is obviously different from EMUI, simple and smooth

Last week, there was news that Hongmeng OS is being tested on a small scale based on Huawei Mate 30. A tester took the initiative to contact the media and revealed some details of the test system. It is said that the UI can be seen at a glance from the Android-based EMUI:

1. Added a new phone wake-up animation and supports custom options;

2. Support screen-off display, add widget plug-ins, message notifications and personalized lock screen interface;

3. Icons are redrawn, there are many animations, the overall smoothness and speed, a new notification panel and a huge search box;

4. A new reminder mode has been added in the settings;

5. A brand new ringtone;

6. The camera interface is simple and clean, but compared to the P30, it lacks some functional controls;

The tester revealed that perhaps because the OS is still under development or due to confidentiality reasons, a considerable number of functions are still not clickable and are merely placeholders.

Last week, in an interview with Huawei CEO Ren Zhengfei published by French media, he said that reports showed that the Hongmeng system was 60% faster than Android.

However, frankly speaking, it is not surprising that the above efficiency can be achieved by just making some basic modules. The key is that after adding various services and installing various applications, it can still have a fluency comparable to or exceeding the current Android. Only then can the value of Hongmeng be truly recognized by users.
