According to foreign media reports, Apple will adjust the interfaces of new iPhones and iPads starting in 2021, allowing these devices to use USB-C interfaces to ensure higher compatibility.

Earlier, Japanese media reported that Apple's fourth-generation iPad Air will be equipped with a USB-C interface to replace the "lightning" interface. Apple first used the USB-C interface on the iPad Pro released in 2018, but other iPad models still use the "lightning" interface.

Rumors surfaced earlier this year that Apple was developing an 11-inch iPad Air that would be released in the second half of this year.

In addition, according to the real iPhone 13 model exposed last week, the new phone seems to use a USB-C interface instead of a "lightning" interface. Although there have been rumors that the iPhone will use a USB-C interface, this has not yet been realized.
