Apple releases new version of MacOS: can share iOS applications

Today, Apple updated many of its systems. In addition to iOS/iPad OS 14.3, it also brought the new version of macOS Big Sur 11.1. This update mainly focuses on the optimization of the M1 processor.

The macOS 11.1 update includes support for the newly released AirPods Max, which have many of the same features as the AirPods Pro and support instant connection using an Apple ID. The update also includes app privacy labels that will appear in the Mac App Store.

In addition, Apple has also optimized the M1 processor in the new version of the system, such as improving performance and further improving compatibility, which allows better use of iOS applications.

The macOS 11.1 version also addresses the following issues:

• After upgrading from macOS Catalina, QuickTime Player may quit when opening a movie with a timecode track.
• The Bluetooth connection status is not displayed in the Control Center
• Reliability of automatically unlocking your Mac with Apple Watch
• Trackpad scrolling on MacBook Pro models may be faster than expected
• LG UltraFine 5K Display may incorrectly display at 4K resolution on M1-equipped Macs
• Some features may not be available in all regions or on all Apple devices.

There have been reports that the desktop processor that Apple will launch next year may be named M2 and is also based on the 5nm process. The performance is said to be stronger. The new Mac Pro will use it, and the more powerful 16-inch MacBook Pro may also use it.
