The first activity to play in Douyin's Hometown Reunion New Year event is the lantern lighting activity, which is the card collection activity currently used by all major APPs for Spring Festival activities. There are a total of 5 hometown lanterns, namely "reunion, round, home, hometown, and New Year". After collecting all of them, you can get the qualification to share 300 million. After collecting all the hometown lanterns, you can combine them into a blessing lantern to start the next blessing lantern collection activity.

There are a total of six blessing lanterns, namely "Health, Good Luck, Peace, Fortune, Happiness, and Good Fortune". After collecting all of them, you will be eligible to share another 200 million.

The first N users and lucky number users who light up a set of hometown lanterns and blessing lanterns can receive extra Koi red envelopes and have a chance to win a grand prize of 8,888 yuan. (See the official event rules for details)

You can get points by completing tasks. This year, Douyin has fewer tasks that require you to install the app, but has more tasks that require you to watch a few seconds of advertising.
