So, when was the Communist Youth League founded? What is the age range of the group members?

1. When was the Communist Youth League founded?

It was officially established in May 1922.

1. When the Chinese Socialist Youth League was founded, the Party was leading the preparation and launching of the Great Revolution, which was at its climax. The Youth League actively united and led young people to join the workers' movement and the anti-imperialist and anti-feudal mass movement, showing great vitality and playing a pioneering role.

2. In August 1920, Shanghai first initiated the organization of the Chinese Socialist Youth League, followed by its establishment in Beijing, Guangzhou, Changsha and other regions. From May 5 to 10, 1922, the First National Congress of the Chinese Socialist Youth League was held in Guangzhou, and the Chinese Socialist Youth League was formally established. In January 1925, it was renamed the Communist Youth League of China.

3. From then on, the Youth League, as an assistant and reserve force of the Communist Party of China, united and led young people of all ethnic groups across the country under the leadership of the Party to actively participate in the cause of revitalizing China and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

2. What is the age range for members of the Communist Youth League?

14-28 years old.

According to the "Introduction to the Communist Youth League of China" published on the official website of the Communist Youth League of China, we can know that:

1. Chinese youth who are over 14 and under 28 years old, recognize the League's constitution, are willing to join a League organization and actively work in it, implement the League's resolutions and pay League fees on time, may apply to join the Communist Youth League of China.

2. League members who are 28 years of age or older and do not hold any position within the League should go through the procedures to leave the League.

3. After joining the Communist Party, a League member will retain his or her League membership. When he or she reaches the age of 28 and no longer holds a position in the League, he or she will no longer retain his or her League membership.

Generally speaking, the Communist Youth League of China is a school for young people to learn communism in practice. In schools at all levels, the Communist Youth League of China has achieved certain results in leading and uniting students; the Communist Youth League is also responsible for guiding the work of the Young Pioneers of China (Young Pioneers).
