On July 4, the Cyberspace Administration of China notified app stores to remove the Didi Chuxing App, requiring Didi Chuxing Technology Co., Ltd. to strictly follow the legal requirements, refer to relevant national standards, earnestly rectify existing problems, and effectively protect the personal information security of the majority of users.

Didi Chuxing officially responded that Didi Chuxing is determined to implement the relevant requirements of the relevant national departments and has suspended new user registration on July 3. Didi Chuxing App will be removed from the shelves for rectification in strict accordance with the requirements of the relevant departments. Users who have downloaded Didi App can use it normally, and passengers' travel and drivers' orders will not be affected.

On July 7, Didi Chuxing was removed from both the Alipay mini program and the WeChat mini program, and Didi Chuxing is no longer visible in the transportation services of WeChat Pay.

However, if Alipay and WeChat users have already used the Didi Chuxing mini app, they can continue to see the records in the search and can continue to use it normally.

In addition, only the Didi Travel mini program for the taxi-hailing business was removed from the shelves this time . Didi’s other mini program services, such as Didi Designated Driver, Didi Hitch, Didi Gasoline, Didi Freight, Didi Bus, etc., as well as Didi’s Hua Xiaozhu Taxi, can currently be searched and used normally, and the Didi senior version is still there.

At present, Didi Chuxing has not yet responded to this.
