WeChat adds new feature: Fans can file complaints against those who pursue celebrities without any bottom line

On November 8, according to media reports, WeChat has added a new item "Fans' unscrupulous star-chasing behavior" to its user complaint page. Users can file this complaint against personal accounts or WeChat groups.

In addition to this option, WeChat also lists other complaint options, including "posting inappropriate content harasses me", "fraudulent money-stealing behavior", "this account may have been stolen", "infringement behavior", "posting counterfeit information", etc.

Industry insiders pointed out that WeChat’s move is aimed at rectifying the “chaotic phenomenon in fan circles where fans pursue stars without any bottom line.”
