Tencent released its third-quarter 2021 financial report today, and as usual, announced the user scale of WeChat and QQ. The financial report shows that as of the end of the third quarter, the monthly active combined accounts of WeChat and WeChat were 1.26 billion, which is basically consistent with the market estimate of 1.26 billion. Compared with the same period last year, the number of WeChat users increased by 4.1%, an increase of approximately 10 million in the quarter. As it can still maintain stable growth despite its size, WeChat is worthy of being called the "No. 1 National APP". At the same time, the number of monthly active accounts of QQ smart terminals was 574 million, a year-on-year decrease of 7.1%. It is worth mentioning that starting from the fourth quarter of 2019, Tencent no longer announced the scale of QQ users for all terminals. The figure at that time was 731 million, a year-on-year decrease of 8.9%. In the third quarter, Tencent's revenue was RMB 142.368 billion, while the market expected it to be RMB 145.41 billion, a year-on-year increase of 13%; its net profit was RMB 39.5 billion, while the market expected it to be RMB 32.6 billion, a year-on-year increase of 3%. |
