Reasons for iOS system upgrade

Apple phones are upgraded relatively frequently, which really helps us users to continuously improve the experience of using our phones. So, what are the reasons for upgrading the iOS system?

The first reason is because of the major version upgrade of the mobile phone, which is mainly a system-level upgrade, including changes in the overall UI, such as from iOS10 to ios11, etc.

The second reason is the fix of system bugs. For example, the iOS15.4 system had a decline in battery life, so it was officially updated in the iOS15.4.1 system to improve the battery life of the phone.

The third reason is to add some new features. Some system functions need to be updated through small upgrades. For example, the mask unlocking function was added from ios15.3 to ios15.4.

Therefore, there are many reasons for upgrading the iOS system, which can basically meet our needs in all aspects of mobile phone system upgrades.

Should iPhone phones be upgraded?

This is an old question.

I think system upgrades for our mobile phones are actually necessary, and for iPhones, I adhere to these principles.

The first is that old phones will never be upgraded to the latest system. For example, for the iPhone 7 series, I do not recommend that you upgrade to the current iOS 15 series. I generally think it is better to cross two series.

Secondly, I think new phones can be upgraded and have their systems repaired and used continuously. In particular, they can be upgraded to the latest system, such as the iPhone 13 series. Generally speaking, systems like the iOS 15 series can be upgraded.

Third, it is not recommended to upgrade some beta versions unless you are a professional mobile phone user or a digital blogger. Or if you have your own preferences for mobile phones, you can consider upgrading.

In fact, the Apple mobile phone system is not so friendly to some older mobile phones, because after the upgrade, there may be some lag issues, and even some mobile phones may experience frame drops or even reduced battery life.

We do not recommend that you upgrade your iPhone to a very large extent. For us, the best place for an iPhone is its original system.

Of course, if we want to add some new features, we can consider upgrading to some new systems to ensure the daily use of the mobile phone.
