The hottest and most popular thing now is self-media, but many people fail the first time they apply, and give up after applying twice, thinking it is too difficult. The editor only started to get in touch with self-media in September this year. At that time, I applied for three self-media accounts in one go. To be precise, they were self-media accounts on three platforms, namely Toutiao, Baidu Baike and Sohu. Let me share my experience with you below, which may be of some help and inspiration to you and help you avoid some detours. To be honest, the self-media that are easier to apply for include NetEase, Yidian Zixun, Penguin, Toutiao, etc. There are two most difficult self-media platforms: Baidu Baike and Sohu, which are more difficult to pass. At the beginning, the editor first applied for Baidu Baike, because it was very popular at the time and the income was higher than other platforms. So I applied directly for a Baidu Baike account. After filling in all the previous information, I thought, since applying for a self-media account is so simple, I might as well apply for a few more accounts. I did it right away. On the same day, I applied for the self-media accounts of Toutiao and Sohu. The next step was to wait. The first message was from Sohu, saying that your review did not pass and asked you to go and make changes. Later it turned out that the problem was that the supporting information and photos were not clear. After the change, the auxiliary data problem still occurs. But the good thing is that Toutiao has passed, but Baidu Baike is still under review. Later, I asked a friend (who has been working on this for half a year) and found out that auxiliary materials are very important. So how did the editor solve it? In the auxiliary information section, you can fill in your Weibo (over 10,000 followers), blog (level 20 or above), WeChat public account (over 10,000 followers), and other self-media accounts to prove that you can provide high-quality articles to readers. However, the number of followers on the editor's Weibo account was less than 300 at the time, so how could I get through? Finally, the editor thought of going to Taobao to check, and indeed someone had purchased one. After filling in the form, the Sohu account was quickly approved. The most important one is a Baidu Baike account, which is relatively difficult to apply for. At that time, the price on Taobao had already been driven up to (1500), which shows how difficult it is. There are many ways to do this. One is to increase the number of readers of articles on your other self-media accounts first. You can use these self-media accounts to apply. Another way is my previous method, which is to purchase a high-level blog or Weibo account on Taobao to apply. It was very fast and was completed in a few days. However, since Baidu fully opened Baidu Baike in October, it has become easier and easier to apply for. In order to provide a convenient platform for those good writers, Baidu distributes invitation codes internally. As long as you have an invitation code, your chance of passing is almost 100%. So how do you get the invitation code? I won’t go into detail on this here. This is my experience, I hope it will be helpful to friends who have not yet passed the review and are preparing to apply for a self-media account. |
